The impact of our grant-making is evident throughout Merseyside, a source of immense pride for us. Small grants create significant changes to the lives of those affected by domestic abuse.
Our impact is measured by real feedback through direct beneficiary outcomes. We evaluate how our funding has directly affected the individuals it has served, including, health, education, employment and quality of life.
In 2021
We funded two projects, one focusing on the BAME community in South Liverpool and the other working with women who needed support in accessing further education, volunteering or work placements.
In 2022
We funded a project working with women on building self esteem and confidence, focusing on becoming financially independent and entering the world of work. We also supported a separate project which increased the outreach work going on across Liverpool, focusing on places where women felt comfortable meeting without worry.
In 2023
We funded the Next Steps Project. This project has supported 172 service users to access a range of activities to improve their employability prospects. The positive impact of this funded activity can be evidenced by the number of beneficiaries accessing the project for support, and the positive results / outcomes delivered by the project throughout the year.
